Reading Town Hall organ recital

Reading regularly provides lunchtime organ recitals.

The Town Hall has a famous ‘Willis’ organ. It was designed 1864 for the original Town Hall and few years later enlarged for a new hall by Henry Willis. With over 3000 pipes it has avoided any significant changes since then and is now valued as a unique survivor from the 19th century. It is regarded as ‘arguably the finest Victorian concert organ in the land’, and is said to be sought out by organists from around the globe.

This concert in September 2026 featured Callum Knox visiting Organ Scholar from St George’s Chapel at Windsor.
